With this test you can accurately determine the earliest possible harvest moment for Hayward (green) kiwi to be ripened with ethylene after a period of cold storage.
For this test you need to take 1 sample (15 kiwis) from your orchard, as soon as you suspect that your fruit is nearly mature enough to be successfully ripened with ethylene. The samples are easy to prepare.
Based on your sample we can accurately measure the maturity level of your fruit and determine the earliest possible harvest moment for fruit to be ripened with ethylene after cold storage. This is based on the minimum maturity level required to ensure acceptable flavour. Our analysis is available within two business days after we have received your samples.
This test directly measures the activity of the genes that control the ripening process. This allows an exceptionally accurate monitoring and prediction of maturation.
